What we collect, and why
We ask for as little as we can, use it only to arrange your visit, and delete it on request.
What we collect
When you book a tour, we collect your name, email address, and — if you give it — your phone number.
When you book an intro call, we also ask for your practice type, your current practice situation, and roughly when you would want to move in. Those three are required for a call, because they are what makes the conversation worth having.
Our servers also see the IP address your booking came from. We use it only to limit how many bookings can be made from one place in a short window, which is what stops the diary being filled by a script.
There is no account to create, and we do not ask for payment details.
Why we collect it
- Your name and email create the calendar invitation and let us recognise you when you arrive.
- Your phone number, if you give it, is used to reach you if something changes on the day.
- Your practice type, situation and timing tell us what to prepare for, so the conversation is useful rather than generic — and so we do not ask you the same questions twice if you go on to book a tour.
Who else sees it
Four places hold some part of it. Two are services we use to arrange the appointment; two are our own records of your enquiry.
- Google Calendar holds the appointment and sends your invitation email.
- Zoom generates the video-call link for the intro call. Zoom receives the meeting time, not your contact details.
- Amazon SES delivers an internal email to us saying you have booked. It contains your name, email address, phone number if you gave one, and your practice type.
- Our own membership records. Your enquiry is recorded in the system we use to keep track of who we are talking to, so that we can follow up with you and so nothing gets lost between a call and a tour.
We do not sell your information, we do not share it with anyone else, and we do not use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
The calendar invitation stays as the record of the appointment, the internal notification stays in our mailbox, and your enquiry stays in our membership records while we are still in touch. We have not set a fixed deletion period for enquiries yet, and we would rather say so than publish a number we do not keep to.
Ask, and we will delete all of it. That is a manual job done by a person, not a button — so it may take a few days, and we will tell you when it is done.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies, and there is no third-party tracking tag anywhere on it. The booking pages keep nothing in your browser beyond what is needed to complete the booking you are making, plus a note of whether you prefer the light or dark version of the site.
Asking us to remove your details
Use the form below and we will delete what we hold. You do not need to give a reason, and you do not need to explain yourself.
What happens to the request itself
A form asking us to delete your data is, unavoidably, a form that collects your data — so it is worth saying plainly what we do with it. We record your request, the address you gave, and anything you write in the message, so that we can act on it and so we have a record of having done so. We do not use any of it for anything else, and we do not add you to anything.
If you would like the record of the request removed too once it has been dealt with, say so in the message and we will remove that as well.
